Do you see me?
Dissolving in the wind.
Like dry lakebeds,
My soul is rocks again.
Dissolving in the wind.
Like dry lakebeds,
My soul is rocks again.
I whisper your name,
Fancy, flowing truth.
Once again put to shame,
Yet I have no proof.
No more I need or want,
Bountiful pleasures of flesh.
My heart acts nonchalant,
As it waits for death.
Billowing thoughts of madness,
Caress like autumn's breeze.
This wound is filled with sadness,
And I slip away with ease.
I lay in unmarked reserve,
My salt returns to earth.
Freedom I helped preserve,
My destiny since birth.
