Despite its downtown location in one of the world's busiest cities, Saint Lawrence was a beautiful church of stained glass and ancient stones. The dark gray columns held the cathedral ceiling up at a height that made it hard to see. It saddened Detective Nick Harlan, to think he'd come here to investigate a murder.
