The Dilemma Movie Cast

"How far would you go for your best friend?" That's the tagline for the new January comedy starring Vince Vaughan and Kevin James called "The Dilemma". The dilemma of the movie involves Vince Vaughan's character discovering that his best friend's wife is cheating on him.

The Dilemma Cast

Vince Vaughan cast as Ronny Valentine. Vince Vaughan stars in The Dilemma as a guy, Ronny Valentine, faced with a huge dilemma involving his best friend. Vince Vaughan has been acting for over twenty years, but the 1996 film Swingers really introduced him to a wider audience. Some of his more recent popular movies include The Cell, Old School, Dodgeball, The Wedding Crashers, and The Break-Up.

Kevin James cast as Nick Brannen. Kevin James plays Nick, Ronny's best friend whose wife is cheating on him in the movie. Kevin James has had success recently with his movie roles in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, and Grown-Ups. Many of his fans known him best though from the long running television series The King of Queens.

Winona Ryder cast as Geneva. Actress Winona Ryder is continuing to make her comeback after her arrest and other personal troubles by playing Nick's wife, Geneva. She also recently had notable parts in the critically acclaimed film Black Swan and the TV movie When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story.

Jennifer Connelly cast as Beth. While Winona Ryder is trying to make her way back uphill, Jennifer Connelly's supporting part in The Dilemma seems a little like a continuation of a backwards slide after her Oscar win for another Ron Howard film, A Beautiful Mind. Nevertheless, the actress plays the girlfriend of Ronny in The Dilemma.

Queen Latifah cast as Susan Warner. Actress and singer Queen Latifah is known best for her Oscar nominated role in Chicago as Matron Mama Morton. Since then, she has appeared in sixteen films such as Bringing Down the House, Beauty Shop, Last Holiday, and most recently Just Wright.

Channing Tatum cast as Zip. Channing Tatum, who plays Zip in The Dilemma, is known best for his 2006 role in Step Up.

Directed by Ron Howard. The Dilemma is Ron Howard's 22nd major movie to direct. Some of his most notable movies he directed include the Oscar winning film A Beautiful Mind, Frost/Nixon, Cinderella Man, The Missing, Apollo 13, Cocoon, and Splash. Besides being known as a director, Ron Howard is also well remembered as the cute kid Opie on The Andy Griffith Show and as Richie Cunningham on the television series Happy Days.

Written by Allen Loeb. In addition to The Dilemma, screenwriter Allen Loeb has also written the movies Things We Lost in the Fire, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, 21, The Switch, and the upcoming movie Just Go With It starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.
