The Disadvantages of Being a Mistress

Dating someone else's husband might have its alluring qualities, but what of its disadvantages? Some women do not mind being the other woman and they console themselves with (false) promises made by the married man they are involved with.

Wasting Your Time

The time you could have spent being in a real relationship is spent with a man who is just wasting your time by lifting your hopes up just to let you fall. He knows what he is doing; he knows that he would never have a future with you. Why would you want to waste your time? Because he'll never allow you to have another relationship (men are more jealous than women!) while you are still with him.

You Cannot Be Seen In Public

Why would you go out with anyone who does not want to be seen with you in public? You both can't go to popular restaurants because you are afraid to be seen in public by family and friends of his. After sometime the hotel rooms will begin to lose their appeal and you would want to go out and try out the hottest spot in town, but wait! He can't go with you, because he does not want to be seen with you!

He Cannot Be Trusted

You know you cannot trust him because he is cheating on his wife with you. He made vows to remain faithful to his wife and he is obviously breaking that promise.

He Would Leave You All Alone

He is married and he has to get back home in order to be with his wife and kids. He will leave you and run home to be with the woman he truly loves. You are nothing but a sexual object to him, because his wife is either too lazy or too conservative to indulge in his preferred sexual activity. You can't see him on major holidays like Christmas, valentine's day, and et cetera because he will be spending those times with his family.

Unforgiving Public

The public can be very unforgiving when you are thought of as the "other woman". You will get scornful looks from every woman that knows the story that you were caught with someone else's husband. You would be tagged "a home wrecker," and believe it or not, men are easily pardoned by their wives but the woman he was involved with is considered the real enemy

Many women are truly unaware that the man in their life is married; he only tells her when he is sure that she has fallen in-love with him and he is convinced that she would not leave him at point in their relationship. Any woman who finds herself in his predicament should leave the lying cheater before it is too late because if she does not nip it in the bud, the whole thing would blow up in her face.
