The Disastrous Republican Offense Against Terrorism

But what is TARP?

Is it a slogan?

Could it be the

Tragic American

Republican Program?

Yeah! That's it.

Although some Republicans

may be having a fit.

They claim TARP doesn't work.

They warn big government lurks

to destroy the efforts

of our Republican leaders

and all their dreamers.

--

When Republicans rebound,

Stocks go down.

And in Islamic towns

Hatred of US comes round.

Republicans believe war

is the only response for

the terrorist threat

at our shore.

--

It would start

with a plan

to attack Iran

and spread from there

for sure.

Russia would get

involved because she

would think it a threat.

--

And I would bet

that after the war

that would destroy more

than our little world,

We would still fear

that some terrorist here

would kill for

some twisted belief

while we mourn in grief

and wonder if war

was justified for

pacifying our fears.

We'll shed our tears

and regret all the years

we spent pursuing war

and ask "what for?"
