The Dog Who Wouldn't Die

Good Vs. Evil

True Story: 1985 Altadena, California on a cold November night myself with others were visiting with an eccentric friend who was a philosopher, a writer and he was living a rich life with mansions in Altadena, La Canada Flintridge, Sierra Madre, San Marino and Monrovia, all in California. Eddie Van Halen was his next door neighbor that was the Monrovia Mansion.

I will not mention his name although he is now deceased. He gave me my 21st birthday party at one of his Altadena mansions which lasted the whole weekend. He was a very passionate person, knowledgeable, respectful, giving, and fun to be around; he was an open book full of new and exciting adventures. But, there was a side of him that may have been a "Dark Side" to some. Some called him Demon ______. I called him my friend, and a friend indeed he was.

One evening in November a stray dog ran into his yard. You see he had dogs of his own that would sometimes dig there way out of the yard and get into the neighbor's yards and hurt or even kill their animals. The Police would be called out and after several calls and fed up neighbors, he was told by authorities 'one more incident, his dogs would be put to sleep. This is the night that the Dog Wouldn't Die...

When this little in size white dog (don't remember the breed) came into the yard and was mangled almost to shred's by his vicious but tamed dogs, Shadow a German Sheppard, Beast a black Pit Bull, and Rain also a Pit Bull. When I say his dogs mangled to shreds this poor little dog. I saw guts, and blood. He didn't want to call the authorities due to consequences that was inevitable, but instead ordered a few guys to go into the house and get a gun to put the dog out of his misery. Well one shot to the head, and the dog just blinked no howling, no sighing, no nothing, just blinking. Go get the hammer, he replied.

Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! and the dog just blinked. Get the gun with the bayonet, and bring the machete too he then ordered. The dog was stabbed right straight thru the heart, over and over and over again, the dog didn't say a word and just blinked and blinked and blinked. Oh! By this time I could see the dog's heart thru its skin, each and every beat. Next order was to get a box to put this dog in to drive him further up into the mountains. You see, Altadena is in the mountains but with homes built throughout, so the dog was to be taken further up the mountain. The Dog was put into the box and shot right into the heart, and still he just blinked. My poor dear friend Tonya cried and started pleading the Blood of Jesus and praying. She was totally frightened along with a few others. I knew that something powerful and unseen to the naked eye was going on. Good vs. Evil however, I continued to keep my cool and not freak out although I wanted to run out of his yard and not look back. I often wondered was the Dog an Angel, there to make the ultimate sacrifice by giving up his life instead of one of ours.

I agree with Jack! Your guest commenter seems somewhat deranged, I think we should pray for this person.

What you have described is cruel and YOU people are EVIL! What you did to that poor inocent dog...I hope he was and angel and you all go straight to HELL for the inhumane torture you put that innocent animal through. Instead of being a decent human being and facing the consequences whatever they may have been, that demon you call a friend decided to put that poor dog through the most horrific torture. I hope the authorities catch up with you and your evil buddies...or if not the authorities, then GOD. I hope you all go straight to hell!!! Because those who just stood by to watch the torture are just as much to blame.

What an incredible story. God was not done with this dog apparently and the lessons of this story are that we can know that God's purpose stands and that miracles still happen today for God has not changed. Great story Brownie. WOW! :-)
