I have shopped at the Dollars Tree at least once a week, since its opening a few months ago. I love it, it is a great feeling knowing that I can fill an entire shopping cart and it is not going to cost me more than, say forty dollars. Fill a shopping cart anywhere else and you can plan to spend double or most likely triple that amount.
Now the Dollar Tree does not carry every item, but the selection they do have is great and depending on the season and holidays, new items are always being put on the shelves.
There is a great, huge selection of cards and balloons for all occasions or if you need supplies for a party, be it a birthday party, baby shower or even a wedding, you can get those here too. I purchased all of my son's birthday supplies from the Dollar Tree, plates, cups, napkins, utensils, banners, balloons, gift bags even prizes and all for fewer than thirty dollars.
Into scrap booking, they have a great selection of paper, stickers, pens, glue, stamps and scrap booking packets to get you started. There is always a great selection of coloring books and young reading books for kids, my son gets a book almost every time we go shopping. There are other fun kids toys as well, and even stuff for teachers, such as learning calendars, reward stickers, alphabet posters and more.
The Dollar tree offers many cleaning supplies from name brands such as, Palmolive, Spic and Span and Awesome. Bathroom products like toilet bowl brush, toilet paper and even hygiene products such as shampoo, deodorant, soap and razors can all be purchased for a buck or less. Kitchen utensils are even available from spatulas, to spoons to dishes. When I need a new mixing spoon or spatula I grab one from the Dollar Tree and most of the time I have colors to choose from.
If you think this Dollar Tree ends there, you are wrong. My most favorite feature of this store is the food isle and freezers. Groceries cost so much, and I love the fact that I can get a box of really good tasting crackers or chips and not have to spend $3.59 or more. Many of the brand names I did not recognize but my family tried them anyways and we really enjoy the. Even the freezer food is great, hotdogs, sausages, Jello, dips, dinners, popcorn chicken sometimes even eggs and other meats.
Bottom line, the Dollar Tree is a great place to shop when you are really on a budget, and in little Ukiah, most people are.
