The Donut

The family was traveling home for the holidays and everyone was excited. The drive was long and although they had the car checked out top to bottom, they had a flat. Luckily, they had a spare and the dad changed the tire.

Unfortunately, the spare would not get them where they were going and they had to stop to get a new tire. Mom and dad explained that the "donut" tire would not get them where they needed to go and that everyone could just sleep for a little while in the car. It was the middle of the night and everything was closed, so they settled in for a nap at a tire shop. The shop would be opening in a few hours.

After a couple of hours, the sun was rising and the dad heard the kids talking in the backseat. They always had their animals talking to each other. The animals were asking why there was a donut on the car. The dad laughed and woke up the mom so she could hear too. It was a humorous moment. If only they had it on video for when the kids were older.
