The Do's and Don'ts of Submitting Content on Associated Content

Viktorya Hale
This ought to be a good one for us all. I am sure I will come back to mark it all off as if it were a check list. I have found that I have totally messed up a good article because of sloppiness and just being anxious to have it published.

Well that leads me to the first problem. I am so anxious to publish, right? Why? I NEED to get out of this habit. I seem to 'think' that some of my articles aren't worth anything so I just submit it for free and sit there with a smile as my in box fills up with comment alerts. Haha. Guilty? I bet you are. It is called patience. I mean it may take two weeks before it actually publishes, but still money is money. Give it a shot. If for some reason you don't think you will get compensated, be sure to check the AC library.

Reminder for Katy. Stick this one to your forehead, duh! Ohh my goodness, I cannot believe that I actually did this. As humiliating as it is, I will share it anyway. We all know it is exciting to see that email titled 'OFFER from Associated Content'. Then there is that 'reply from Associated content' aka '(REJECTION) reply from Associated Content'. Well burst my bubble, why don't you! It does it every time and every time it is because it is too popular and they are looking for 'unique' articles. Blah Blah.

...EXCEPT in today's case. I saw the email come through when I was on Yahoo Messenger. Uhhg the rejection email. I don't even read it, and I go straight to the site and under My Content. I don't bother reading the scroll down message from the editor. I copy and paste it to Notebook, so I can repost the darn thing for free, as usual. Just as I hit the X to delete the original, I notice the editor's notes said 'we would love to pay you for this article. All you have to do is change the title'. Oh I was furious. Katy is always jumping too far ahead of herself. So I missed out on that one as I would have gladly changed the title. So with all that said, please READ the editor's notes and don't assume what it says.

We are suppose to be professional writers, well at least we want to be. Maybe we want to attract someone to our work for a more permanent and steady income. First we must learn proper grammar. You knead to learn two spell write so that you can get watt you want out of your righting. Got it? Yes, we have the little ABC check option and we should use it. However, the problem is knot always spelling butt proper grammar. We are all guilty of it. I look back at some of my articles and it can be quite hilarious.

We want to get known to other AC Producers, right? I know I do. I want to make as many friends as I possibly can. I think I am on my way with that pretty much since I have been more active. I believe that was around November. You cannot make good friends if you do not return the favor of commenting their content. If you do not agree with what was written, I WANT feedback. I love constructive criticism. I will do that in return, because that is just the way I roll. I am sure that we are all adult enough to decipher the rejects and the haters from someone who is real and genuine. My friend, Michael wrote an article on hitting someone's ratings to lower them. That is childish and shows that someone has a green eye. So hit me up I will hit you up. Scratch my back and I will scratch yours ~wink~.

Well I wouldn't think that I would get a dime for this article, but I will submit it for payment and we shall see.
