The Double Croissan'wich Breakfast Sandwich from Burger King

It Tastes Great but it is Definitely More Filling.

Jay Braun
I will say first and foremost that I often eat at McDonald's compared to burger king, but Burger King does have some good food. I rarely eat breakfast there though. This was a rare occasion for me. Since I was not as familiar with their menu for breakfast I saw something that looked like a sausage croissant sandwich and ordered by number. What I thought was a sausage, egg, and cheese Croissanwich turned out to be a Double Croissan'wich with sausage and bacon. I had seen sandwiches like this before, but the idea never really appealed to me. I often would just get two value meal sandwiches if I was really hungry.

The Double Croissan'wich is a pretty simple sandwich. It has double meat, two slices of cheese, and an egg on a croissant. You can get any combination of bacon, sausage or ham that you would like. As far as the version I tried it kind of reminded me of the idea for a bacon cheeseburger to help add flavor to plan cheese burger. The version I ate also was not messy at all to eat. This is always nice when you are in a car.

I think it was a pretty good sandwich and it was very filling although I did not plan to order that much food. I would honestly have skipped the hash rounds if I had known it was a double sandwich. The flavors really complimented each other and it was something that I would eat again. I might actually make my own version around the house sometime.

Like just about every delicious and convenient thing that can be purchased at a fast food restaurant this is not very good for you. The Double Croissan'wich with sausage and bacon has 570 calories, 37 grams of fat, and 24 grams of protein and 28 grams of carbohydrates. If you want to drop the calories a bit you can try a double bacon or double ham. The Double Croissan'wich with double ham will give you 440 calories, 22 grams of fat, 26 grams of protein, and 28 grams of carbohydrates.

Thanks for sharing. We have a BK within a few blocks. I think I'll skip on down there on the way to church for one of these Croissanwich. Sounds kinda good! Thanks and God Bless. ℳ.ℋ.
