If you are ever in Woodland Park, Co this is a place that one must experience at least once. The huge doughnuts are delicious, and the help is as nice as can be. One can eat in at the few small tables or even call in an order to be picked up later. The inside is built like a small cabin, and the outside is a beautiful sky blue house, front porch and all. Inside and to the left is a case that holds the cold drinks, mostly soft drinks. They also have nice hot coffee, hot cocoa, and various teas. Sometimes there are small jars of jellies and jams available also. The local newspaper is available for reading while eating. Also there is a nice bulletin board that features local businesses and services available locally.
I have traveled the world and have lived in several states in the US, and I have never had such a wonderful dining experience. The first time I walked in and saw the huge doughnuts and other pastries I was amazed. My friend and I bought a huge cinnamon roll and it literally took us two or three days to eat the whole thing. It is a great place to meet and converse over a fabulous breakfast burrito, a cold drink and a doughnut. I highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience. Come and chat with a friend or even the friendly help on a slow afternoon while enjoying a doughnut and a drink.
Six days a week The Dounut Mill serves up an amazing array of special pastries at a good down home, slow paced atmosphere. The Dounut Mill is a great place for starting your day right or surprising your loved one with a once in a lifetime experience while on the road.

Post a CommentWe are heading to Colorado from Missouri soon and no joke "The Donut Mill" is what i'm craving most! I can not wait to return and get my chocolate cake donuts. I've tried all the bakeries here in MO but none compare to the MiLL. Another plus for Missouri people looking for good ice cream..They have BLUE BELL, no not Blue Bunny they have the good stuff. Give it a try and you won't want to go home!
Good review. It made me hungry!
mmmmm, sounds good. I guess it'll have to wait until I visit CO. I just moved to Texas from CO. Great review. :)
