THE DOWNFALL of CONGRESSMAN ANTHONY WEINER

Anthony Weiner fought hard for his constituents of Brooklyn and Queens . Prot©g© to Charles Schumer , Weiner rose quickly in the political arena. Politics is the only job Anthony Weiner has ever known. He was good to his constituents and in turn we were good to him. Anthony Weiner has served from 1999 until present. He had sponsored over 190 bills and co-sponsored over 1000 Bill/Resolutions. He was known to work long hours, for being a demanding member of Congress .

I have never been particularly enamored by politicians and it has had nothing to do with parties. I my view ALL politicians lie. When voting I just try to pick the lesser of the two evils; a pretty said commentary.

Anthony Weiner was by all accounts a bit different, a hard worker demanding of himself and his staff. He truly seemed to care about the average people of Brooklyn and Queens and fought hard for them.

So many years of service wiped out in just a couple of weeks because of lewd photos he sent from his Face book or Twitter account. Actually from the photos I saw on the news they seemed tame to other scandals but do not take this remark as condoning. They were totally inappropriate!

What possess' someone in his position to do such a thing? Is the pressure of the job so overwhelming that our politicians do things that they would not ordinarily do? Did Anthony Weiner who has never had scandal attached to him prior to this have some sort of mental breakdown?

The lying is what brought him down. If people would just remember that the truth will set you free, people may have forgiven him. It is a shame that such a long and promising career has ended.
