The Durabrand Portable MP3/CD Player

I got this portable compact disc player for Christmas about four years ago. I have broken and dropped so many CD players that I have lost count and I'm sure many of you out there have. However this particular CD player is the most durable one I have ever owned or encountered. I have dropped this CD player hundreds of times, left it out in my car in the blistering hot sun or the coldest days of winter. I even dropped it in the water once and it still plays and works as good as the first day I got it. I even have thrown it across the room or my yard a couple times because I was angry at something and it still works!

It plays MP3 CDs which means that you can put up to two hundred songs on a CD and it will play them. It also says the names of the songs that are playing instead of just the track number. Also, It plays some of the worst scratched CDs I own with out much of a problem. When I try to put these CDs in other CD players like my home stereo or my car stereo they don't play at all. A lot of CD players have problems with the lenses or aren't very durable but this CD player lives up to its name Durabrand.

It has great sound to it and an equalizer that you can set to rock,pop,rap,classic or jazz. There is a bass boost if you want more bass in the song. The volume can be turned up quite loud. I even still have the original head phones that came with it. I put it in my pocket and go for long runs with it and it does not skip at all. I left it out in the rain and it has gotten wet plenty of times and it has not broken. I do not think it was made to be water resistant either.

It only takes two AA batteries, I have seen some that take four. There is also a plug to plug it into an electrical outlet using a 4.5 AC 700mA adapter. Another cool feature is that the batteries are actually underneath where you put the CD. This reduces the risk of them falling out because a lot of times the door where you put the batteries will break and it is usually located underneath the CD player itself.

So if your looking for a portable CD player I highly recommend any of the Durabrand ones. I have heard good things about them all around and like I stated before they really do live up to the name Durabrand and I am very happy I found a CD player this durable. Definitely the greatest CD player I ever owned or ever will own and I plan on owning it the rest of my life. So if your out shopping for a CD player pick up a Durabrand!
