The Dyson DC18 Slim Vacuum Cleaner

The Dyson DC18 Slum Vacuum is a vacuum designed to give the user a powerful device while also making sure that it is lightweight and very easy to maneuver while cleaning. With a weight of just over 15 pounds total, the Dyson DC18 is a vacuum that can be carried around the house (or up stairs) with extreme ease, and not only that, but it makes the vacuum that much easier to push around the living room. There is also an easy to use handle on the front of the vacuum that makes it easier to carry it around the house.

Using the Dyson DC18 Slim Vacuum

This is a bagless vacuum cleaner, so it is basically ready to go right out of the box (with very minor assembly) and you are off and running with your vacuuming. There are no filters to clog, and there is a guarantee when it comes to the suction of the device, so don't worry about what you might be sucking up into the vacuum. The head swivels nicely to allow you to get it into tight spaces, and allows the maneuverability that everyone wants from their vacuum. Using it on both carpets and hardwood floors, the Dyson DC18 runs very quietly, and doesn't give off the loud sounds that you might expect from a vacuum with the power that this one has. This allows it to work low to the ground to, so you can take it from the living room to the kitchen, and even into the bathroom. The slimness of the vacuum allows you to work around (and between) furniture without having to move it all over the place, and allows the user the freedom of working quickly through the cleaning process.

The strong suction from the Dyson DC18 means that you won't have to go around the house picking up odds and ends before running the vacuum, and you don't have to worry about it jamming or locking up due to something getting stuck in the head. Added to that, is that the Dyson DC18 is recommended and certified to be asthma friendly. This means that according to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, that this is a vacuum that is recommended and suggested to those that have problems with either asthma or allergies. It can make this vacuum a great choice for families with kids that suffer from either of these ailments, and it comes with the knowledge that the vacuum will work well on cat hair that has been scattered across the floor as well. It's also easy to empty the cup from this cyclone, by just pushing a button on the top of the vacuum and removing the dirt and dust with ease. One final (huge) benefit is the telescope reach that the Dyson DC18 has when you pull the extension off the back to vacuum stairs, curtains, or on top of cabinets around the house.

Final Thoughts on the Dyson DC18 Slim Vacuum

For anyone in the market to purchase an extremely powerful vacuum that works on just about anything, the Dyson DC18 is a highly recommended choice. It isn't one of the cheapest options on the market, but it does come with a 5 year warranty, and some top-notch technology that really helps it be one of the best vacuums out there. Dyson sells this vacuum with several slogans, including the fact that "Air expelled from a Dyson cleaner has 150x less mold and bacteria than the air you breathe."
