Apples are simply a part of fall. They come in every shape, size, color, and taste. Here is a extremely easy to make yet absolutely delicious recipe using the fruit of fall.

Fried Apples Galore

Ingredients you will need are:

Granny Smith apples (about 10 or more for a larger crowd)

Butter (and please use real butter and not margarine)

Ground Cinnamon

Maple Syrup (or you can use pancake syrup if you so desire)

Brown Sugar

Preparation is as follows:

Thoroughly wash the apples and cut into pieces (about bite size); *do not peel the apples*

Cooking:

In a frying pan put about ¼ to ½ (for more apples) of a stick of real butter

Add the pieces of apples

Pour about 1½ cups of maple syrup over the apples

Place about 2 cups of brown sugar over the apples

Sprinkle desired amount of cinnamon over the apples

Cook for about 45 minutes or until the apples are very tender and "fall apart"

Serving suggestions include:

Serve over vanilla ice cream topped with cool-whip

Serve simply in a bowl topped with cool whip

Serve over waffles or pancakes

Wonderful and delicious side dish for pork dishes

Or simply make up your own way to serve it

I hope that you like this recipe and use it often.
