The Easiest Way to Get the Prettiest Feet Ever for the Summer, Overnight!

E H
Summer is almost here! One of the most important things on your list should be to get those pretty feet ready to show, and amaze. I will lead you through some simple steps to the most perfect pedicure ever, and they're simple too, so no excuses for ugly feet this summer!

Things you'll need:
- A container big enough to house both of your feet comfortably (large bowl, bucket, baby bathing tub, whatever you can find)
- Handful of salt
- Half a cup of lemon juice
- (Cheap) hair conditioner
- Pumice stone
- Any oil (preferably olive or almond), or cuticle oil
- Thick lotion
- Vaseline (optional)
- Plastic wrap or plastic grocery bags
- Cotton socks
- Nail polish remover
- Clear nail polish
- Favorite color nail polish

Get Skin Ready:
- Get yourself a cool magazine or a good book, or even do this near the TV. Get yourself that big container and fill it up with enough warm water to cover your feet. In this step, we're most worried about softening the bottom of your feet, so as long as that area is soaked well you're good to go! Make the water as warm as you can stand, but watch out not to burn yourself! Add to the water a handful of salt and half a cup of lemon juice. Soak your feet in the mix for about 30 minutes. This will loosen dry patches and dead skin cells for easier and more effective exfoliation.
- After you're done soaking, step into the bathtub (or anywhere where it's OK to get messy). Get some (cheap) conditioner and apply it to one foot entirely, making sure to cover problem (extremely dry, scaly, yucky) areas well. Sit down and rest the conditioned foot to absorb the conditioner for 5 minutes. Then, use a good pumice stone to scrub all of the rough skin and callouses off. Be careful not to scrub live, soft skin because that will hurt. Swap feet and repeat. Rinse the conditioner off and dry feet well. NOTE: MAKE SURE YOUR FEET ARE COMPLETELY DRY TO AVOID FUNGAL AND BACTERIAL GROWTH.
- Apply the oil to your cuticles (area around the toenails).
- Apply thick lotion generously all over your feet, concentrating on problem areas. You may apply Vaseline for extra protection against moisture loss.
- Wrap your feet in plastic wrap or bags to help the skin soak up the lotion more effectively. If you find that the plastic is too annoying and completely unbearable, skip on to the next step without it.
- Finally, put on a pair of cotton socks to keep everything in place and head to bed.

Get Nails Ready:
- When you're ready to unwrap your feet, reach for the nail polish remover to begin prepping your toenails. The nail polish remover will remove lotion and Vaseline from your nails so that the nail polish will apply smoothly and stick to the nail for longer without chipping.
- Add a coat of clear nail polish to protect the nail from discoloration due to colored nail polish. Let it dry completely. TIP: to remove yellow discoloration from nails, soak them in lemon juice.
- Apply your favorite nail polish color. The trend this summer is pastel colors, but of course you can apply whatever you think will look best.
- After the polish has dried completely, apply another coat of clear polish to protect the color from chipping and help it last longer. TIP: polish must be completely dry between coats or it will clump and you will mess up all of your hard work!

That's it! Now your ready to flaunt those sexy feet on the beach or anywhere else. TIP: Most men love pretty feet!

Enjoy! And don't forget to always keep your feet moisturized to avoid dryness and cracking.
