High in the cupboard
I had them hidden
Behind all those boxes
They sure won't be found
I had them hidden
Behind all those boxes
They sure won't be found
He looked and he poked
He pushed and he shoved
Until to the floor they fell
All my Easter treasures
It wasn't the six year old
Who climbed up high
Searching for those treats
I thought would not be found
It was the sixty-six year old
Who could not wait
For the Easter Bunny
To bring those jelly beans

Post a CommentYes, thanks for your comment - spring is coming - and boy are we ready this year. And... I loved your poem..that would be one of my son-in-laws - he tells everyone I keep a candy drawer "just for him" - not - but I do have a great candy drawer! Hope he enjoyed his jelly beans.
That was very cute and very funny!
Love it!!! That's too funny...I could see my husband doing that too!
