Light can sometimes be shaded
And produce a dark appearance;
The Good within can be covered
And evil is what we glance.
And produce a dark appearance;
The Good within can be covered
And evil is what we glance.
When the light is covered
And the good hidden from our sight,
We still can know the Truth:
Good is here; there is always light.
Good will never leave us
Though appearances make it seem so;
Look past the eclipse
And trust in what you know.

Nice, a man of many talents I see.
Nicely done.
I've got to think about this one for awhile.

"Trust what you know!" This is a wonderful line. Really nice poem!
good one!
I like this. Sometimes the shade is dark, but the light behind is what makes the shade.
