A squirming jar of worms
Moving mindlessly in all directions
Wildfire spreading
Wildlife darting in panic
Visions of Dante's hell
Hopelessness growing
Thoughts of insanity
I balance on the abyss
Nothing to hold on to
I often wonder
Have I already let go
Have I lost my mind
A madman can still function
Will I ever know
Is my creativity intact
It's hard to tell
Vague abstract concepts
I might as well let go
Because I'll never know
Moving mindlessly in all directions
Wildfire spreading
Wildlife darting in panic
Visions of Dante's hell
Hopelessness growing
Thoughts of insanity
I balance on the abyss
Nothing to hold on to
I often wonder
Have I already let go
Have I lost my mind
A madman can still function
Will I ever know
Is my creativity intact
It's hard to tell
Vague abstract concepts
I might as well let go
Because I'll never know
