The Effects of the Environment on Your Body

C. A. Hargreaves
Women are affected by many environmental factors in this article I will just detail a few of them in the hope that they help you understand your body better. What environment factors could be affecting your body? Think about this as you read this article, you may be surprised. Environmental factors are simply those things caused or related to your surroundings, such as food, exercise; the people in her life, the school she attends (attended) even the circumstances she lives in.

The food she is given - if for example she is only given un-healthy and junk foods then she is more likely going to be overweight with health problems and poor skin condition. And women who are over weight are more prone to suffer from a range of diseases. You become overweight when you take in more calories than your body can burn.

If however, she is given a well balanced diet she is going to be less at risk of being overweight and unhealthy. Food is material that provides living things with the nutrients they need for energy and growth.

The exercise she takes - these tie in with the food she is given for a healthy and unhealthy lifestyle. Because of course a women who regularly exercises is going to be fit, toned and mentally healthy. Someone who regularly exercises is going to feel healthier because of the endorphins that exercise creates. Endorphins are you body's natural way to feel healthy, and they are created when you exercise. In the dictionary the meaning of exercise is "to undertake physical exercise in order to keep fit and healthy".

Circumstances the social, financial, material, or spiritual conditions that somebody lives in. Well if she is poor and lives in dirty and unclean surroundings then she is more likely not to exercise and eat healthy because she feels that she can't afford to buy the right foods and get a gym membership and her self-esteem will most likely be very low. Where as if the girl lived in a clean house with a comfortable life style the women could afford to live healthy and her esteem is more likely to be higher.

In today's society women have a lot of opportunities to be both healthy and beautiful. They have everything they need to make the right choice. There is an abundance of food with a wide selection to choose from. Medical services are available to monitor health and if need be to seek help. With a vast selection of FUN ways to keep fit such as dancing, playing sport and much, much more. There is a mass amount of information and advice through literature and the media.

Unfortunately even with the abundance in healthy options there is also abundance in the un-healthy option. This is often an easy choice, and one a lot of people will rather choose after all it is a no brainier, just go through the drive through.

Many women are caught in the cycle of necessary activity or compulsive behaviour, and it takes strength and purpose and a definable goal to be able to slow down and stop the cycle.
