Intro Dreams of Happy Ever After

Most every little girl dreams of marrying her prince charming and living happily ever after. You find yourself thinking about what he will look like, what he will do for a living , where you will live, how many children you will have. Even what kind of wedding you will have right down to the dress and honeymoon. Then you find him and you begin dating and getting to know each other. Soon you both discover how much you have in common and want to be together forever. Before long you start planning that dream wedding you always wanted and before long you are married and happily living as one.

First Plan and Organizing a Budget

By planning and organizing a budget you know exactly what you make and what you can spend to stay on track financially. You enjoy the same things and laugh at the same movies and love all day every day. In fact there's nothing anyone can say to make you think bad about your spouse. Your love is strong and you are invincible, you can withstand anything because you worked and saved for a rainy day. But what happens when it starts to rain and happily ever after turns into happy no more ??

Second laid - off and One Income

One day you start out as always getting up and seeing him off to work as you do every day, except today the door opens and in he comes with the news he was laid off. You are now down to one income. At first you work together to re-prioritize your bills and finances. This way you know where your money is going and what it will be used for. There may still be hope that things will be okay as your husband begins to send out resumes once again.

Third Strange and Unusual Behavior

But over time you may see your husband change the longer it takes to for him to find work. At first it may not be much; he may just sit and gaze out the window staring at nothing specific. He may start drinking. If its just a drink or two at dinner it may not be anything to worry about. However, if it is more then that, or he begins drinking in the afternoon and drinking alone with nothing to eat you may worry a little bit.

Suddenly you are watching the money dwindle as you try and make it from paycheck to paycheck which may be hard especially if you only get paid once a month. Pretty soon, all you can do is trust God to see you through, after all he was the one who gave you the money in the first place.

Forth A Wife's Reaction

According to Lori Phillips Marriage Editor from BellaOnline says "Don't let the financial pressures cause you to turn on your spouse. Venting, blaming or even voicing your worries about the mounting bills only increases his anxiety." To see more of her ideas you can visit http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art4826.asp .

Fifth Pamper Yourself

Here are some things you can do to keep from becoming stressed and worried.

1 Don't eliminate laughter from your day, just because he is not finding things to smile or laugh at right now doesn't mean you have to stop smiling or laughing as well.

2 Don't let his mood start to affect you and your mood. A bad or negative attitude can easily spill over and cause you to feel bad as well.

3 Get a massage or a pedicure

4 Do something you enjoy; read your favorite book, take up a class. It doesn't have to be anything big just something you like doing and will bring a smile to your face just by doing it.

Eventually this will pass and things will get back to normal. If you are able to stay positive strong and faithful you will be just fine.
