The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Comes to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC on 11/11/11

Bethesda Softworks revealed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the title of the next game in The Elder Scrolls franchise and that it will be released on November 11th, 2011 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be a featured in a cover story of the February 2011 issue of Game Informer, which will no doubt reveal many insights into the highly anticipated sequal to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

According to the game director of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Todd Howard:

"It's exciting finally to announce the game. We've been working for many years on Skyrim and the technology behind it. A new Elder Scrolls game has been a long time coming, and we can't wait to show it off."
