The Elements of a Wedding Theme

Most weddings in today's setting have become personalized that couples tend to introduce themselves to their guests and families through the wedding theme. Couples tend to showcase who they are and try to add the personal touch to their wedding.

So among the issue that must be considered in crafting the wedding theme are the personalities of the couple, particularly their interests. One example is that what they commonly like, what are their common passions, what are their common hobbies and other similar but often disregarded things.

Playing out this issue in the wedding theme makes the event more personalized and can also be appreciated not only by those who attend but much more by the couple themselves. In the planning stage the couple cannot distinguish the relevance of these things, but during the big day, they will notice that they are bounded by similar things that strengthen their love with each other.

Another common element of the wedding theme is the season. In western countries, the season is a very important issue considering that someone cannot come up with a wedding theme that is appropriate for summer when it is already fall. In tropical countries, however, the issue is not much discussed because the only thing being considered is whether the wedding is done indoor or outdoor.

In any case, however, it is very important to suit the wedding theme to the season, otherwise the couple should brace for the consequences. For example in a western country, a wedding done during autumn will mean a wedding theme must indicate that the cold season has already arrived.

But the biggest element that must be considered in coming up with a wedding theme is the venue of the wedding. This is primarily because the wedding will only be unique if the couple, or their organizer, will be able to put the things to make the event as such.

The venue also allows the couple to settle down on what wedding theme it wants. The location speaks of how the couple wants its wedding look like and how they want it remembered.

With these elements considered, the couple, or their organizers, can now go down to the specifics that it wants the wedding theme to reflect, like the flowers, the candles, the design of the place and even cake.

The wedding theme must also be incorporated in the invitation to allow the guests, including family members of the couple, to decide on how to dress up for the occasion.

The wedding theme, with the elements all considered, will not only reflect who the lovers are but will also convey the message of how they love each other.
