One time I had a dream
I walked along outside.
toward the woods so green
where real did not apply.
Strange colors new to me
I heard the songs of elves.
Glowing shrooms near fir trees
laughing at themselves.
Amidst a stream was flowing
all creatures danced throughout
To where fairies were going
In the woodland all about.
I walked these woods before
and played here as a child.
Without the elven lore
This neon world so wild.
The beauty in this world
I've never seen the like
and nothing has unfurled
To quite a finer site.
Awake looking outside
I beheld a sky so grey
To none did I confide
My dream unto this day.
