I bought the Ergo Baby Carrier for $100 and yes I know that this price is definitely heavy on the pockets but honestly It was worth it. I think that me purchasing the Ergo Baby Carrier for $100 wasn't a waste at all.
What I like about the Ergo Baby Carrier
Well it wasn't the price and that's for sure but outside of the price the Ergo Baby Carrier is one of the better baby carriers. I've used bjorn and wasn't happy. I think using bjorn was one of the reasons why I stopped using baby carriers in the first place. Now the Ergo baby Carrier may not be sheik and fashionable like most baby slingers but I believe that it gets the job done.
I'm not really into the look of a baby slinger, I'm more into the safety. And when it comes to this baby slinger that's what I get. When I put my baby in this carrier I feel that he is secure. I think that's one of the fears that I've always had when it came to putting my baby in one of these slingers, is the safety.
Another thing I like about the Ergo Baby Carrier is that it's made to make my husband comfortable in wearing it. See the thing about Ergo Baby Carrier is that it looks more like a back pack to me and that alone is what makes my husband utilize more than me.
Another thing I like about the Ergo Baby Carrier is the straps. The straps are awesome. They are simple to adjust and they are thick enough and they don't cause tension in my shoulders. I also like the extra pockets that come on the Ergo Baby Carrier, I was able to store my personal items as well as diapers.
My conclusion?
I would recommend the Ergo Baby Carrier to any parent looking for a baby slinger that is going to not just look fancy but actually get the job done. It may cost a pretty penny but it's one of the better baby slingers on the market. You can carry your baby up to 40lbs which means that if you wish to carry your toddler on your back then you are more than welcome to do so with the Ergo Baby Carrier.
