The Everything Wedding Book: The Only Guide that a Bride Will Need

Lisa LaVergne
I can't tell you how many times I have went to the bookstore and seen women sitting in the bridal section with countless books spread around them trying to find the perfect "How To" book. "The Everything Wedding Book," by Janet Anastasio, Michelle Bevilacqua and Stephanie Peters is, in my opinion, the one wedding guide that every soon to be bride should have.

The book is broken down into easy to understand chapters that guide you through everything from your engagement to the honeymoon. Put into simple terms, it is a wedding guide that everyone can understand. Whether you are planning a small informal wedding or a large extravagant affair, this book has the information to help you along the way. There is an in depth table of contents and index to help you find specific information in a snap. From start to finish, the book is formatted in basic chronological order that will help to keep you on track as to what you should do next. To give you an idea of how the book is formatted, and how much detail is involved, here is a rundown on one of the chapters in the book. Chapter Three is labeled, Ringing in a New Life: Your Wedding Rings. The chapter is broken into sub-sections labeled: Some Tips of the Trade, Engagement rings, Diamonds, Diamonds Aren't a Girl's Only Best Friend, Bands on the run, Care and Cleaning and Should You Reuse Rings? As you can see, every aspect pertaining to engagement and wedding rings is covered in this book. All of the chapters are set up this way and provide useful, detailed information.

Not only does it tell you how to plan a wedding, it also gives you tips for proper procedure and etiquette for handling certain situations, things that can often be overlooked. Throughout the book there are boxes labeled "Words to the Wise" that are filled with useful tips pertaining to the chapters subjects. The authors take into consideration almost any scenario that could come up while planning your wedding and give great tips on how to handle them. At the end of the book they provide you with over 100 worksheets to help you plan and organize your wedding. These worksheets include Wedding Budget Worksheets, Wedding Guest Lists, Bridal Shower Worksheets, Gift Registry Checklists and information, a Wedding Gift Recorder, Reception Events Worksheets and many, many more. These worksheets will prove to be indispensable to planning your wedding!

Every bride wants their wedding to be perfect. For those brides that need that little bit of help to ensure perfection, "The Everything Wedding Book" is the perfect answer.
