The Exterminator

There has long been a debate in this country of if vigilante justice is right or wrong. This movie especially can make you think of that. There are people that are doing things that are horrible and the police cant or won't do anything justice will find a way to be served.

John Eastland and Michael Jefferson are best friends from the army and served in Vietnam together. While being held by the Vietnamese Jefferson saved Eastland's life. Back in the states Jefferson works at a liquor warehouse when one day Eastland comes by. While at the warehouse he notices that that members of a gang known as the Ghetto Ghouls ripping off a bunch of the beer and try to stop them and in the process kick the crap out of them. To get revenge the Ghouls ambush Jefferson the next day and beat the hell out of him crippling him for life. John decides to get even and kills a large number of them.

After this John decides to get even and kidnaps a Ghetto Ghoul and uses a flame thrower to "persuade" him to inform him of were to find the leader that hurt his friend. He then goes to a hideout of the Ghetto Ghouls with an M-16 and kills all of them after making all the women leave. He evened the score but needs to get money for the Jefferson's to have. He decides that since a local mobster has been squeezing money out of businesses in the area, including the one Jefferson worked at, he figures he can give some money back that will be given to the Jefferson's. He kidnaps him and threatens to grind him up in a meat grinder if he does not pay up. The gangster gives him the keys and says go get the money. He neglects to tell Eastland about the Doberman Pincher that he has as an attack dog in the house. Eastman kills the dog, but gets really pissed and grinds the gangster up in the meat grinder.

Next he goes after a child prostitution operation. A girl picks him up on the street by offering herself for $15 and $5 for a room (man tail is cheap up there). While the girl is undressing he sees that she is heavily disfigured on her breast and asks what happens. Initially she makes it out like he wants to hear about it to get out. Eastland says a monster would do something like that. The prostitute had that done to her when a customer hired her have sex with a man who was also having sex with a boy at a "chicken place". She informs him that it's a place that serves young boys to "perverts". She said when she would not cooperate they took a solder iron and burnt her. He looks at her and says "lets get out of here you don't belong here".

Eastland goes to the chicken place under the guise that he wants to sell the owner two very young boys. The pimp agrees and then Eastland tells him how sick he is. He then beats the hell out of him and throws lighter fluid on him and sets him on fire. The same pervert that burned the prostitute john was with sees this and runs back into the room. John goes in and shoots him in the balls. There is a teenage boy tied up spread eagle and gagged in the room. Apparently the pervert was either raping him or going to rape him. He unties the boy and they get out of there

About this time the CIA and NYPD get involved in wanting to catch the Exterminator. The CIA fears it will look bad on the current administration and the NYPD wants to catch him in general. He eventually tracks John down and they agree to meet. This is a pretty good movie with a decent amount of action. It is a B movie, but a good one. I would not pay top dollar for it, but if you like action movies this is a good one.

When I saw this I thought about vigilante justice. I realize we are a nation of laws and we need to follow that, but I really could not give a person like this a maximum sentence for the kind of scum he was taking out. He should not walk if caught either, but especially wasting the pedophiles. Hell I would shake his hand for taking out the garbage.
