The Facts of Fleiss

I recently wrote an article detailing the life of Heidi Fleiss, the infamous Hollywood Madam. I learned a lot about a woman I admire. This is a compilation of "Fleiss facts" that didn't seem to fit in anywhere in the original article, enjoy!

For starters, Heidi Fleiss' father, Paul Fleiss is renowned pediatrician. He oversaw the birth of Madonna's first child and he was also convicted of money laundering in connection with Heidi. He was sentenced to 1 day in jail, 3 years probation and 625 hours of community service.

Within her first year of pandering, Heidi made enough money to buy a 1 million dollar plus house which once belonged to Michael Douglas. Living in another house, Heidi was also a neighbor to Billy Idol.

Despite dropping out of high school in the 10th grade, Heidi was very business savvy and charged upward of $1,500 per client. $1,500 - $1 million to be precise. It is debated on Heidi's take, ranging from 40%-60% for her role in the business.

In a movie about Heidi Fleiss, Nicole Kidman was passed over for Hillary Swank to play the role of Heidi. It's been rumored that Kidman was too old to play the part of the business beauty.

Heidi is scheduled to appear on VH1's "Celebrity Rehab" with Dr. Drew. This will be her 3rd treatment for crystal meth and vicodin addiction. Also slated to join the cast is Stan Stewart and Dennis Rodman.

Heidi writes a column for Maxim magazine called "Ask Heidi".

Heidi Fleiss lives in a trailer with 20 parrots. She took them in when a pet store closed down.

Heidi claims that she loves fat men. "They try harder." She is quoted as saying. She bedded the former God Father when he was 73 years old. Jack Nicholson is another oldie but goodie she claims.

Heidi Fleiss owns and operates a Laundromat named "Dirty Laundry". She says it doesn't pay the bills but she "loves it".

Heidi used to eat in restaurants where a bowl of soup cost $30 and now can hardly afford a can of soup.

Heidi has had plastic surgery. She has had her lips injected with collagen and her eyebrows lifted and breast augmentation.

The much speculated about "black book" aka her client list has forever remained a secret. Except of course for the two men who outted themselves before Heidi's trial. They are actor Charlie Sheen and Texas billionaire Robert Crow.

Heidi was an exceptional chess player, having won two city chess championships in a row as a child. She passed much of her time in jail teaching others how to play.

At one point in time, Heidi was transferred from prison to a half way house. She had problems with her new place and after a few days, requested to return to prison. It is thought that concern for her safety was the reason for leaving.

And finally in 2002, Heidi Fleiss appeared in the comedy movie You'll Never Wiez in This Town Again, with Ellen Degeneres.

Though it is doubtful that we've seen the last of Ms. Fleiss, it's nice to end on a positive note!
