The Fans Have Spoken, the New Facebook Photo Viewer Sucks

One of my favorite guilty pleasures in regards to Facebook, hands down has to be the fact that I can easily poke through albums and albums of photos, of friends, and enemies alike. It's something to do when I get bored, it is quick, it is easy, and heck, I admit it, I get all holly jolly inside when I see that the prom queen I knew 10 years ago is a sack of lard now.

Sadly I won't be poking fun at the prom queen anymore, or stroking the ego of my friends who have attempted to look hot in their photos, only missing the small details of a stain on their shirt, or a toilet bowl in the background. Gone are those freakishly fun days of photo voyeurism.

I am not alone though, I am sure there are thousands upon thousands of others who have decided to ban photo viewing due to the disgusting new slide-show like interface, that looks bad, crops photos on its own, and of course takes longer to look through. It's sort of like this black invasive pop up, and viewing photos is just not the same anymore. In fact, I noticed it has not only cropped, but degraded a lot of photos that once looked nice, into some pixelated pile of diarrhea.

Fans and feins of Facebook alike are already voicing their dislikes through group forums, in status messages, and on actual photo comments.

I have learned to live with the most recent changes, and the horrid micro mini font they decided to use, but photos man, really Mark... really? You went and messed with the one thing that kept me coming back for more... so I'm thinking maybe I should start poking around with my old Myspace account, hell, at least I had more control over there.
