I'll talk about the goals one by one.
Fiscal Responsibility is the first goal mentioned and judging by the actions of the Tea Party Congress members, it is the most important. Let's consider some of the drastic cuts in Federal spending the Tea party is advocating and the effects of those cuts on the citizens.
My reference is Federal Grants directory at the following URL:
http://www.federalgrantswire.com/federal-grants-wire-site-directory.html
You don't have to peruse this directory for a long length of time to realize that cuts in the Federal Grants to the States may have a devastating effect on the State economies and on the services provided by each state.
I have written comments on Facebook challenging the Tea Party to itemize the Federal Grant cuts. Of course they won't do that.
Oh yes. I almost forgot to include the destruction of the Welfare system, the destruction of the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, and the destruction of the Health Reform program; essentially abandoning the poor, the elderly, the hungry, the uninsured, the retired and the unemployed; abandoning all the consumer protections within the above programs.
What I've learned via reading the Facebook entries of the Tea Party is that the Tea Party looks at this issue in two dimensions. Another words, they don't seem to realize nor care about the consequences of these cuts.
Their second listed mission is Constitutionally limited government. I question the phrase "Constitutionally limited government." Who's interpretation of the Constitution? Is it the interpretation of the Father of our nation George Washington? No. Is it the interpretation of the Founding Father of our nation Alexander Hamilton? No. It is the interpretation of Thomas Jefferson who did not attend the Constitutional Convention nor participate in the writing of the Federalist Papers.
The third and apparently least important goal is free markets. Shouldn't that be the most important, primary goal of the Tea Party? Don't they realize the fragile state of our economy? Their real goal is "unregulated free markets" with little or no consumer protection, little or no regard for the laborer and consequently, poverty for many middle class workers.
Okay. Now that I've commented on the three goals of the Tea Party. I'll predict the political fate of the Tea Party and the Republican Party.
The Tea Party is very inflexible. They insist on not reaching across party lines and verbally attack Republicans who attempt to work out compromises with the Democrats. The Tea Party recently held it's own caucus. For all practical purposes, the Tea Party is acting like a third political party separate from the Republican party. I would not be surprised if the Tea Party held their own convention and nominated their own candidate for the Presidential elections in 2012.
Soon everyone will suffer the consequences of the drastic budget cuts the Tea Party is attempting to force through Congress and ultimately force on the people. Then and only then will the people rebel. We've already witness the political unrest; the protests of teachers and state workers, the attempts to violate the State union contracts, etc.
Those budget cuts will result in loss of public and private sector jobs because many states hire private contractors to do work. It will affect libraries, law enforcement, education, transportation and most any government service one can think of.
Many states will be forced to raise taxes; property taxes, sales taxes, etc.
When the people experience the effects of these cuts and experience a second deep recession caused by the reckless irresponsible Tea Party acts, then they will revolt against the Tea Party. The Republican Party will be split with no chance of re-uniting. The Republican Party will lose it's majority in Congress. The Tea Party will lose it's Congressional members. The people will blame the Tea Party for the new recession and for any government shutdown.
The Tea Party will be the spoiler causing Democrats to control Congress and Obama to win the 2012 election. The Republicans and the Tea Party will, once again, not learn their lesson and make a new 2012 promise to America that will never be fulfilled; just like the last two promises.
Note: Many of my opinions state here were also stated in comments and blogs on Facebook, Thoughts and MySpace.

The tea party is evil.
You have put a lot of serious thought into this -- well done!
