The Final Season of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show': What to Expect

Oprah's 25th Season Will Bring Back Past Guests

With Oprah Winfrey's 25th- and final- season to air starting on September 13th, many fans wonder how the Queen of Talk will end her reign. Here is what to expect during Oprah's final season:

Oprah's First Audience- O Wants You!

Oprah.com is trying to locate people who were members of Oprah's first national audience back on September 8, 1986 (the show was titled "How To Marry the man/Woman Of Your Choice") . Pictures of unidentified audience members are posted on the show's website. The show's producers are also trying to locate memorable guest and audience members from other episodes of the show. Pictures of people who the producers are looking for can be found here. What I'm getting is: expect plenty of flashbacks and guest updates this season.

Celebs Better Not Have an Agenda

Winfrey recently told TV Guide that her celebrity friends will be expected to "create moments" if they want to appear on her show this season. She's not looking for book plugging or record dropping. That's not to say we won't see musical performances or movie clips. It's just Winfrey wants a little more, which is why her people are looking at ways to pair up celebrities to create those special moments. And no, Winfrey's pal President Obama is not expected to be a guest during her final season (although she didn't rule out a videotaped message from him).

Oprah Will Take a Trip Down South

As a follow up to some of her most dramatic shows, Winfrey told TV Guide she plans to return to Forsyth County, Georgia and Williamson, West Virginia. If you remember the Forsyth County show back in 1987, that's when Oprah visited a town where no black people were allowed- and the queen of talk was called the N word by a man in her audience. In West Virginia, Winfrey will revist the town grocery store where a man with AIDS was not allowed to enter back in 1987.

Other Shows For Oprah' s 25th Season

Oprah.com currently has a "Be On the Show" link which details they are looking for people to appear on her show for the following topics:

Are you in a great public school?

Does your daughter need a makeover?

Would you allow your spouse to cheat?

Are you facing financial ruin?

Are you having a wedding dress dilemma?

So suffice it to say, we'll be seeing these topics as well during Oprah's 25th season.

The final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show premieres on September 13, 2010.
