You'd probably say I'm being silly,
You'd probably say I'm wrong,
But I think we know the truth
And one of us is in denial.
You'd probably think I'm rash,
And it's probably true,
But I'm rash and brash and I'll crash
Into you, if you'd let me,
But you won't.
You'd probably think you'd know me,
If I told you that you did,
But I wonder if you'll notice
The finer points of irony
I've laced that statement with.
You'll probably catch the subtle hints I've dropped
Two minutes after I've stopped dropping them
And you'd probably smile if I asked you to,
Two minutes after I've stopped asking.
