The Five Best Hotels for Valentine's Day in the Salt Lake City Area

When choosing a hotel in the Salt Lake City area, the four things you want are a great location, beautiful rooms, things to do, and of course amazing views of the state. I am going to tell you about my five favorite hotels in the Salt Lake City area. These hotels are pretty, clean, romantic, with a great location, a lot to do, and great views. Whether you are a local or coming here from some where else, you will love these hotels!

The Anniversary Inn is one of my favorite hotels for any occasion but especially for Valentine's Day, honeymoons, anniversaries, or just for a couple's getaway. The Anniversary Inn has four locations: Boise, Logan, and then two in Salt Lake City. Every room in these hotels are amazing, they are all different themes. You are sure to find a room theme that you will love. My favorite rooms for the 5th south location are the Palace Suite and the Romeo and Juliet Suite. For the South Temple location I love the Jungle Safari and the Phantom of the Opera. In the Logan location I love Juliet's Balcony and Taj Mahal. Last but not least, in the Boise, Idaho location I am head over heels for the Hollywood Romance and the Fire and Ice. No matter what room you choose, you will be very amazed.

Hotel Monaco is one of the best hotels right in the heart of Salt Lake City. It's modern, classy, and romantic all at the same time. You will have amazing views of the valley, which looks even better at night. Don't forget to watch Utah's amazing sunsets and sunrises either. The thing that I enjoy about Hotel Monaco is that they are pet friendly too, so if you are like me and love your pets you can bring them along as well. Some of the features of Hotel Monaco are: round the clock room service, 100% smoke free rooms, valet and laundry service, complimentary shoeshine, in-room yoga program, tall rooms (for the taller people), guppy love (adopt and name a fish to stay with you while you stay at the hotel), and a fully stocked refrigerator/mini-bar.

Hotel Park City is beautiful and rustic. I love how comfortable, romantic, and relaxed the rooms feel. You will get beautiful views of one of the most stunning cities in Utah, and if you watch carefully you may just see some wild life as well. There is a lot to do in Park City especially on Main Street. The nice thing about Hotel Park City is if you don't feel like going out and about you can always grab a hot drink and take in the scenery. Some of the features of Hotel Park City are: spa treatments, skiing/snowboarding, on-site fine dining at Ruth's Chris Steak House, causal dining at Bandanna's Restaurant, daily courtesy ski shuttle to Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort, and some great packages. If you refer a relaxing vacation versus the hustle and bustle of the city then Hotel Park City is right for you!

Snowbird is one of my favorite places to go in Utah. If you want to be in a winter wonderland then Snowbird is the place to go. With plenty of lodging options, you can choose the room that suits you. There are plenty of things to do at Snowbird and you are sure to keep busy. Utah is known for having the best snow on earth, so drop by and find out why. If you are taking the kids along this Valentine's Day then Snowbird might be one of the best options, with their kids, teens, and childcare programs. Don't forget your winter clothes!

Solitude is another great place to stay. I personally think that The Inn at Solitude is one of the cutest little lodges around. This too is a great place to go if you are traveling with your kids this year. I promise you will all have so much fun. The mountain views are breath taking, especially if you are from a warmer climate. There are great instructors at Solitude that are more than happy to teach you and/or your family how to ski or snowboard. They are open during the summer too.
