The Five Best Vegan Lipsticks

Jenna de Salea
If you've chosen a vegan lifestyle you have given up everything containing animal products or by products. Finding a vegan lipstick can be tricky because many brands contain lanolin, beeswax, and carmine...all animal products. Below is a list of the five best brands on the market that are completely vegan, animal product and cruelty free.

EcoBella
EcoBella is probably the best known vegan lipstick out there. If you are a neutral makeup lover this is the brand for you. They have really great earth tones, mauves and berries that work with any skin type. They're pretty long wearing too.

CNaturals
CNaturals is a brand most commonly found in health food stores as well as online. It's a very luxurious line containing exotic oils and bases. The great thing about this line is the selection. They are one of the few with both Glossy and Matte lines.

The All Natural Face
If you love a bright pink lipstick, this one will definitely get you noticed. It's a hand crafted lipstick that has a very high pigment saturation, so what you see is what you get. Because it is only sold online, be sure you already know you like pink before buying!

Monavé
Monavé carries three different mineral based lip products. A traditional lipstick, lip crayons, and a lip glaze in their vegan line. These are very high quality, but with most vegan cosmetics, not exactly highly pigmented or long lasting. But by layering the three products together you get just as much wearability as a traditional color/gloss combo.

Aruba Lipstick
This is a soft pink vegan lipstick that works with just about every skin tone. It's made from mostly vegetable oils and waxes so it is ultra moisturizing as well. It's not a high intensity pigment, so think of this more as a tinted moisturizer rather than a traditional lipstick.

So if you didn't feel you had very many vegan lipstick options there's five of the best lines available. All are strictly vegetable/mineral based, cruelty free, and don't contain any animal products or byproducts.
