The Five Missings..

David Field
Once was alive growing and thriving,
Bearing abundance of fruit,
Now is black, withered and dying,
And no longer holds the truth.
My Heart.

Once was full of passion and care,
Pouring out all love and affection,
Now is stricken with utter despair,
And is numb to any correction.
My Soul.

Once was sturdy, mighty and dominant,
Would brave a lake of fire,
Now resides in shadows less obstinate,
And no longer has any desire.
My Courage.

Once was strong, impressive and powerful,
A magnificent sight in deed,
Now is something far less wonderful,
And died like un-watered seeds.
My Body.

Once was full of purpose and plan,
Could figure out all the angles,
Now is in the company of the damned.
And walks this hell like a fallen angel.
My Life.
