I'm a loyal Starbucks customer right down to my Gold Rewards Card. However, I'm also a very health conscious person and I try to choose my drinks carefully when I visit Starbucks. After reviewing the nutritional information, I've pinpointed the five unhealthiest drinks you can order at Starbucks and what you should order instead.

Even without the whipped cream, the Venti Java Chip Frappuccino with whole milk contains a whopping 440 calories, 10g of fat, and 87g of carbohydrates. The Venti Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino with whole milk contains 400 calories, 12g of fat, and 70g of carbohydrates. Yikes! For a healthier chocolate fix, go with the grande skim banana chocolate Vivanno Smoothie, which delivers 250 calories, 2g of fat, and 48g of carbohydrates (6g of which are dietary fiber.)

Unhealthiest Drinks At Starbucks:Venti Signature Hot Chocolate with 2% milk

Order the Venti Signature Hot Chocolate with 2% milk and you're looking at 390 calories, 11g of fat, and 62g of carbohydrates. Do you really need a venti? Take this drink down to a short with skim milk for 140 calories, 1g of fat, and 27g of carbohydrates.

General tips for ordering healthier drinks at Starbucks

-Add less sugar. One tsp of sugar has 4g of carbohydrates
-Use skim milk
-Skip the whipped cream which adds anywhere from 50-100 extra calories depending on drink size
-Stick to tall or grande. Do you really need a 20-24 ounce Venti?
