It grew from the concrete; I was amazed I'd have to say.
I imagine that its journey was a tough one to fulfill.
People walking all over it, I bet it kept doubt concealed.
The elements would certainly change everyday.
The wind blew obstacles to help obstruct the way.
Still the vision of the flower must have been fixed on the sun.
Even when the sun slept its hope couldn't be undone.
The busy bee stopped by occasionally bringing a sense of life.
A cool shower in the evening complemented the night.
Standing alone while others watched on the other side of the divide.
Talk about the grass being greener on the other side.
With all the challenges we face we must find the strength to pull through.
After all that flower that drives another to succeed could be you.
