The Force

The force to set me free

Now once again

It has beholden me.

When life gets trying

And problems start to rise

I try to back away

And live a life of lies.

I run from reality

To hide within my dreams

When I emerge to surface

I'm surrounded by their screams.

The many voices that I claim

Within my mind and soul

Never shall possess me

And again make me unwhole.

Once I fell their victim

Uncertainty took her place

I was scared of life itself

Even to show my face

Then love strengthened

I fought the force and won

Forever friends and family

My impenetrable source of love
