Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled! A lesson from scripture and song about trust and endurance during the desert seasons we walk through. We remain grateful for past seasons of victory and remain thankful as we resist the voices of the enemy set to destroy and discourage . We keep on looking ahead to the cool, clear waters and much better places waiting just ahead!
John 4:13-14
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Lessons from Israel's wilderness journey: A time of joyful celebration after great victory!
Exodus 15:15-27
The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name. Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea. Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation. The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away. Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O Lord, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established. The Lord shall reign for ever and ever. And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
A time of discomfort and testing in desert places
Exo. 15:22
So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
Bitter waters are healed
Verse 23
And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? 25 And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet:
Cool, Clear Waters
Ex. 15:27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.
Isaiah 35:6
Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
We see a pattern of celebration, joyful singing and dancing, vows of obedience, seasons of testing, healing of bitterness, deliverance and breakthrough to the fresh and living waters of life. New moves of the spirit bringing us into the better places as we press on with the Lord.
Perhaps you have not yet experienced such a great manifest miracle as God parting the Red sea, but the principle of submission with heartfelt praise and worship is relevant in all seasons we go through. We always know that God seeks our good and has brought us through other hard places. He will not fail those who place their trust in him. We worship the beauty and faithfulness of the Lord wherever we are and follow on to know him as he takes us into greater things. His purposes in us are eternal!
Revelation 7:14
Then he told me, "These are those who come from the great tribulation, and they've washed their robes, scrubbed them clean in the blood of the Lamb. That's why they're standing before God's Throne. They serve him day and night in his Temple. The One on the Throne will pitch his tent there for them: no more hunger, no more thirst, no more scorching heat. The Lamb on the Throne will shepherd them, will lead them to spring waters of Life. And God will wipe every last tear from their eyes."
