1). Watch your food intake ( Ecspecially if your'e 30's and up). Put you food on smaller plates and watch out for "emotional eating" or eating out of boredom. Eating in these styles is fattening, stress inducing and taxing to the digestive system.
2). Walk when you can. Park farthest at all stores. Take any stairs you can at the apartment you live in or the office back stairs etc., instead of the elevator, just climb! This is ecspecially important for couch potatoes and people who don't like to excercise. You have to get in at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity a day to be healthy. Do not be lazy. You can burn fat by doing everyday tasks like vacuuming, climbing stairs, parking farthest away and walking, carrying packages while walking. All those things will build muscle and make you feel like you did something good for yourself.
3). Rub your elbows and knees with lemons. This will exfoiliate and lighten or even out skin tone in those darker areas. It won't work if you don't do it at least 3 times a week. Keep the lemons wrapped up in plastic and put them oin refrigerator and use over and over. If you can stand it like me, slather the lemons on elbows and knees about and hour or two before bed and shower off in morning. It feels so smooth!
4). Easy way to cut fat.Use olive oil instead of butter or margarine. Cut calories by half by using olive oil on everything that you would use butter. If you can't stand to do that , there are two great substitutes that are 10x's more health conscious than real butter and margarine. One is called Earth Balance and it's at Whole Foods for about $2.99 a tub. The other I forgot but you can find lots of choices in the health mart. Earth Balance is my personal fave.
Also, use Olive oil on dry hair end by soaking over night shampoo out, results are so soft and shiny. Using olive oil on cuticles prevent cracking! Use olive oil on eyelashes to make thick and shiny!
5.) Drink Tea! Drink green and black tea and keep plaque from sticking to your teeth and also boost your metabolism which in turn burns fat and you lose weight which by maintaining a health weight keeps you youthful and healthy!
