How to Encourage Yourself

Look in the mirror and what do you see? You might not even want to do so, but this is the only step in encouraging yourself, each day of your life. If you don't show appreciation to that person staring right in front of you, then, no one will.

First Truth: You are Beautiful

When Sarah Brightman sung these lovely words, she could never have been wrong. You are beautiful in your own way and let no one tell you otherwise. Believe in it. You are life's longing for beauty in this world and the universe had taken its time to turn you into a human form that is waiting to be added into the masterpiece of creation.

Second Truth: Life is Beautiful

You have heard it many times. You have read it in many inspirational books. Even if things are falling apart, life is still beautiful. Even if your bills are piling up, life is meant to be beautiful. No one is immune to the troubles of daily living, but to understand that these pains are just temporary - would mean a lot. Think of it this way: You are a diamond in the rough and these trials that come your way are like grind stones polishing you into that flawless gem.

Third Truth: To Believe in Yourself is to Unleash Your True Potential

" I am Beautiful.. " This is the only phrase you have to reinforce in yourself to encourage you to live life fully, for you to discover your life's purpose here on Earth. There's no one who can encourage you better than you. Believing that you are beautiful on the inside, as well as on the outside, is an amazing grace to behold. You are the only one who can encourage yourself to wake up from that deep slumber and live the life that you truly deserve.

Fourth Truth: Excuses are ONLY for Losers!

There are many ways to encourage yourself in getting that promotion, dream home, and the list goes on. You may even write your positive thoughts on a journal or join a self-improvement class. You can even meditate for a few minutes everyday and feel that positive energy filling your every cell. There are many ways to encourage yourself at home and at work. By telling yourself that you are good enough to achieve your dreams, you are taking that giant step into getting it. Feeling sluggish? You may just find that inspirational word in a random flip of pages from your favorite book, or that soothing music that makes you feel at one with the cosmos and even the very thought of people who love you most.

Don't make any excuses in not living the life you always desire. Remember that encouragement should come from within, to manifest in the world without. Having that love inside is enough motivation to live each day at your very best. Start Living Life... Today!
