The Freshest Berries

Joseph Cash

I hope that you enjoy the spring,

When waking trees unfold their leaves

And feathered friends find voice to sing.

Fragrant flowers scent every breeze.

No longer brood on bitter fate.

Your winter moods should be put away,

When the frestest berries are on the plate,

And frisky kittens dash out to play.

My warming love sends out its rays

To cheer your heart for brighter days.
