Powered by an Intel A110 Processor, the Fujitsu Lifebook U810 provides users with enough processing power to browse the internet, edit their documents or use some of the Lifebook U810's multimedia features but is still energy efficient that battery life on the U810 can last up to 5.5 hours. With the Fujitsu Lifebook U810, size really doesn't matter as this powerful notebook will let you video conference, access your company network, check your email, watch downloaded movies, and listen to MP3s, something you wouldn't expect from a device weighing 1.56 pounds. The Lifebook U810's integrated web camera has .3 mega pixels or 640 x 480 resolution, and will allow users to chat with friends or take pictures and the Super AG wireless LAN will allow users to browse the internet at a speed of up to 108 Mbps when connected with a Super AG enabled station or router. The Lifebook U810 has a pre-installed genuine Windows Vista Operating System that will allow the device to run almost all standard notebook applications. Since the Fujitsu Lifebook U810 is a convertible notebook, users can also choose between two input options: the slim QWERTY keyboard or the touch screen using finger or pen input.
Security is not an issue with the Fujitsu Lifebook U810 since the device comes with a BIOS lock, Trusted Platform Module, or optional fingerprint sensor to protect user's from unauthorized access. Users can choose their operating system from Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, or Windows Tablet PC Edition. The Fujitsu Lifebook U810 also comes with bundled software like Microsoft Works with Office 2007 Home and Student Trial Version, Microsoft Office One Note, Microsoft Origami Experience Pack, ArcSoft Web Companion 2, Softex OmniPass, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Fujitsu Menu, Fujitsu Driver Update, Zoom Utility and Bluetooth Driver and Utility.
