A very memorable tantrum happened during a bath, but it wasn't cause my three year old son didn't want a bath. He loved bath time. We would play together with various toys like a boat, rubber duck and plastic hollow building blocks. Bath time was just another way for me to bond with my babies.
I usually never left him alone in the bath tub by himself. But I when the phone rang, I went to answer it and I left him alone for a minute. The water was shallow and I knew at his age there wouldn't be too much of a chance of him drowning. Besides, we lived in a very, very small house and I wouldn't be far.
So I answered the phone and all of a sudden I heard my son screaming. I ran to the bathroom in a flight of terror. I had no idea what could make him scream like that. He was not a kid that threw tantrums normally. I soon found out though. His brother, who was one year younger than him, had decided to climb into the bath and play. So there he was, screaming his head off because his brother had ruined his bath time.
His brother though was just holding a play block, sitting in the water with his diaper on and looking at his older brother with bewilderment. His brother never minded playing with him before.
