National Lampoon takes clips from various episodes throughout the history of Seinfeld in almost every season and combines it with the clip of Michael Richards who curses out the African Americans at his comedy show in real life. The episode also features Jerry Seinfeld's appearance on the David Letterman show and Michael Richards' public apology.
The episode starts off with Jerry Seinfeld opening the door to Newman who Jerry says, "Hello Newman" which is a trademark line in the Seinfeld series. The episode then shows the highlight of Michael Richards' comedy routine at the club in real life. Michael Richards' cursed out two African American men who arrived late into his comedy routine at a club. Apparently they were two noisy and then Michael Richards shouted racial slurs and cursed at them as he stopped his routine in the middle. He shouted the "n" word and the crowd which initially thought that this was part of Richards' comedy act began realizing that this was no joke. Michael Richards really lost his temper and his anger on stage and now his career is washed up. Anyway getting back to the episode....
Once the highlights from the comedy routine are show, the episode features Elaine, George and Jerry watching this on the news of Kramer losing his cool as they go "Oh my God." Kramer tries to explain how he lost his cool which is also rather funny. Then the episode cuts to the clip from the David Letterman show that Jerry Seinfeld appeared on. It has Michael Richards' apology to the people for cursing and using racial slurs. The crowd, which also features George sitting in it, thinks that this is all a huge joke and laugh at Kramer's apology. Then Jerry as he did in real life says, "It's not funny" and everyone in the crowd stops laughing and the look on George's face is priceless. Then in the final scenes of the short episode, Kramer is in a job meeting and he is being asked to apologize. Kramer then asks "for what" and refers to the people as"monkeys" which were taken from one of the episodes. Taking it out of the context of that episode is so much funnier because it sounds like Michael Richards is calling African Americans "monkeys" in the episode which is similar to his racial slurs in real life.
Then it gets even better. Towards the end of the episode, it features clips of Kramer highlights like when he is dressed as a pimp, smoking a joint or acting cool. Then towards the end of the episode, as music plays in the background, it shows Kramer with black face paint on and then in the final scene he is being scolded by an African American man for acting like a fool.
The whole episode is priceless and is one of the funniest things I have seen in my life. You have got to check this episode out. I have been spreading the word and I hope you encourage other readers to read this column of mine and spread the word because more people should definitely be watching one of the best episodes of Seinfeld ever. I thank National Lampoon for coming out with such a funny clip. Remember, it YouTUBE.com. Keywords: Seinfeld Michael Richards. Now go have yourselves one heck of a laugh.
