The Future of Technology Will Go Beyond the Norm

The future of technology is constantly evolving. To quote Bill Gates: "Software is used everywhere, and there will be advancements in the future of software and digital." Bill Gates recently announced that there will be touch and sensory technology, such as a table keyboard, minus the mouse and physical hardware. The modern life is impacted by technology, and the advancement of technology for the next year must add to a more "personalized" quality of life.

With the advancements next year of software for home, work computers and gadgets of all sorts, what's next? The future of technology will have to impact everyday lives, to help improve lives, in countless ways. This is a tremendous statement, considering the future of technology is boundless. There are endless possibilities for this scenario to come to fruition, given the current advancements in medicine, mobile technology and robotics.

In the case of medicine, there are robots now doing surgery. In the future, people will be able to access robotics for more common aspects of everyday life, yet at possibly more affordable prices for services, as technology progresses and the demand increases. Even inferior versions will be superior to the average old way of life, for it will be advancement in general over human capability, especially for handicapped people.

Now there are computerized, artificial limbs for amputees, those coming back from Iraq are able to get these, though the cost is steep. Not all are gifted with these wonder limbs, the cost being the main issue. In the future, as technology increases and there are ways to find more cost effective materials in general, the combining of technology and robotics may become mainstream, and the progressiveness for individual needs will bring forth a demand for the general consumer.

The future of technology has its roots in every aspect of human life, including psychological, as well as sociological, sociology being studied in cyberspace. With regard to search engines, and what consumers look for, will depend on the usefulness and necessity that technology brings forth, not just for everyday use, as in work and recreational, but with real human impact, in regard to health in general and on an emotional level.

People are spending more time online than ever before. Instant messaging is a substitute for talking on the cell phone, the cell phone replaced the modern telephone; therefore mobile technology will soar to new heights. Perhaps an ultra-sensory gadget or a virtual home? The future is endless, and how this affects people will depend on the demand for advancements in the quality of this software and digital technology, and its uses in general.
