Celebrating St. Patrick's Day or St. Paddy's Day to some, means having to indulge in green food or beer. The Galloping Goose in Ridgway, Colorado plans on serving up a St. Patrick's Day feast, although the main course will not be green. You may find some delectable delights that are green, but not the main course.

The Galloping Goose is normally open for breakfast and lunch daily, however, they will be open at 5 pm on St. Patrick's Day, Thursday, March 17th. The Galloping Goose will be serving an Irish dinner consisting of corned beef, cabbage, and new potatoes. The price is right at $12.95.

During normal business hours the Galloping Goose, which is a favorite eatery of local residents serves wonderful homemade pastries and baked goods to go along with their breakfast dishes and their great sandwiches at lunchtime. These goodies will all be available on their special opening on St. Patrick's Day eve. So, if you don't want the traditional corned beef and cabbage, you can enjoy the evening with something from their regular menu like a latte and a nice big danish.

Come celebrate St. Paddy's Day at the Galloping Goose on Thursday, March 17. They will be open at 5 pm and they are located on Hwy. 550 in Ridgway. Please call 970 626-5531 to make reservations, however, reservations are not required. Reservations are recommended to make sure you get a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage.
