Death,
when one is in harmony with God,
is a gentle thing like Autumn.
It's the falling away of a leaf
as it turns in little circles
to the ground,
it's the soft sound
as it goes bumping along
on the sidewalk.

Agreed. I'm not in harmony so I've yet to obtain that peace. Beautifully said.
Oh, I love how you compare death to autumn. Very nice work.
I wanted your poem to keep on going. It's great!
Very nice. I've had several dreams where I'm dying but God gives me a perfect sense of peace at the moment.
Death is inevitable and the natural way of coming closer to what really life is with God. :)
Ah - but what is death to those left behind? or to those who are too young? As a Christian I still find death wrenching as if a piece of my soul goes with them when I am left behind.
Good job...
Moving and lovely.
