The Gift of Time
Twenty- Four Hours
gives us a holy
and awesome gift
The gift of
twenty-four hours
We open this gift every day
Jesus gives us an empty
sacred box and we
can put in this box whatever we chose
We can put stress, worry,
fear, and feel we
just want to get the day over with
Or we can put peace,
faith, and the gratitude
of knowing we are loved
I admit sometimes this
gift comes with incredible
challenges and pain
But even with those
experiences we can still
chose to find peace,and gratitude
We may need help
with our box at times
which is also an act of faith
At the end of the day
we bring what we put
in the box and give thanks
Even if at times
we also bring ego, anger,
resentment, Jesus understands
What was in our box today?
What can we put in it tomorrow?
How can we thank Jesus for his awesome gift?
