She still couldn't shake the previous night's dream. It was a strange dream, one in which she didn't really understand too well. It had started out in what looked like a cornfield, and at first it seemed as though there was no path in sight and then with the blink of an eye, straight ahead of her, a path was formed. The path seemed to go on forever even though the field didn't seemed that big. Julie didn't know why she was here or how she got here. All she knew was that she had appeared. She decided to walk down the path as it was the only way it seemed, to get out of the cornfield. As she walked, she noticed something small at the end of the path. It was so far away it could have been anything. She kept walking and even though the entrance was farther away now, it seemed as though she couldn't get any closer to the object at the end of the cornfield. Finally after what seemed like ages, she approached the object and noticed that it was not an object at all, but a little girl about five dressed in a beautiful lace blue dress, white shoes, and two white bows on her red curly hair. She was very pretty and was just standing there with her hands placed together as if praying standing up.
"Hi, I'm Julie. Are you alone?", Julie said. The little girl did not move, did not flinch. "Are you waiting for your parents?", Why is she just standing there? why doesn't she move?, Julie thought. "Do you need help?" Maybe she can't see or hear, Julie thought. She decided to touch the little girl's shoulder. Slowly she extended her arm towards the little girl and as soon as Julie's hand reached the little girl's shoulder, the little girl let out a terrifying shriek.........................
